Terms of Service
Effective July 2026
Draft — under legal review. These terms are provided so you can see exactly how the marketplace intends to operate. They may be revised before final publication.
1. What Bounty is
Bounty (operated by YNC, a JWD Brands company — "Bounty", "we") is an open marketplace where companies ("Companies") post cash rewards ("bounties") for verified results — qualified meetings, warm introductions, or vetted referrals — and independent participants ("bounty hunters") claim and deliver them. Bounty operates the platform, verification process, and payout rails; the underlying business relationship for any resulting deal is between the Company and its prospect.
2. Bounty hunters are independent contractors
- Bounty hunters are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Bounty or of any Company. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture.
- Bounty hunters are responsible for their own taxes. Payouts are reported where required (a W-9 is collected at first payout; US hunters earning $600+ in a calendar year receive a 1099-NEC).
- Bounty hunters are solely responsible for complying with obligations to their employer — including confidentiality, non-solicitation, conflict-of-interest, and moonlighting policies — before claiming or working any bounty.
3. How payment works
- A Company's payment obligation triggers on verification: when the Company confirms (or Bounty review confirms, per §4) that a delivered result meets the bounty's posted qualification checklist.
- Verified rewards release to the hunter the same day verification lands. Hunters keep 100% of the posted reward.
- Bounty's platform fee is charged to the Company, on top of any paid-out reward or bonus, at the rate of the Company's plan. No payout, no fee.
- Optional bonuses (opportunity or closed-deal milestones) follow the same trigger: verification of the milestone.
4. Verification, disputes, and escalation
- Companies must verify or dispute a logged result within 48 hours of submission.
- If a Company does not respond within the window, the claim escalates to Bounty review, which decides against the posted checklist. Non-response never voids a payout by default.
- Either party may dispute a verification decision within 7 days by contacting Bounty; we review against the posted checklist and the logged evidence, and our determination on the payout is final for platform purposes.
5. Prohibited conduct
We remove content, withhold disputed payouts, and terminate accounts over:
- Fabricated results — fake meetings, colluding attendees, misrepresenting a prospect's identity, title, or intent.
- Contact-data scraping — harvesting or reselling contact data from the platform, or delivering scraped lists in place of genuine introductions.
- Spam — unsolicited bulk outreach or any outreach violating applicable law (including CAN-SPAM and TCPA) while working a bounty.
- Misrepresenting your relationship to a prospect or to Bounty, or circumventing the platform to avoid verification or fees on a bounty sourced here.
6. Account termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with any legitimately earned, verified payouts settled per §3. Fraudulent activity forfeits pending payouts and may be reported to relevant authorities.
7. The service is provided as-is
Bounty is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee bounty availability, claim approvals, deal outcomes, or any level of earnings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bounty's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid to Bounty in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Questions: hello@bounty.yournextcustomer.com.
